BEAM Pace Privacy Policy

BEAM Pace is a running pace and split calculator provided by BEAM Running.

BEAM Pace is designed to work without an account and without collecting personal information.

Information we collect

BEAM Pace does not collect, transmit or store personal information on BEAM Running servers.

The app does not use advertising, tracking technologies or third-party analytics services.

BEAM Pace does not require you to create an account.

Information stored on your device

BEAM Pace may store app settings and calculator preferences locally on your device so the app can remember your previous choices.

Calculations are performed on your device. BEAM Running does not receive or have access to your calculations, pace targets, race times or split information.

Saved targets, optional names, race start times and expected watch distances are stored locally on your device. Race predictions and watch pace adjustments are calculated on your device and are not uploaded to BEAM Running.

BEAM Running does not retain a server-side copy of this information.

Sharing

BEAM Pace may allow you to share calculated results using the standard iOS sharing features.

If you choose to share information with another app or service, that information is provided only to the destination you select and is then subject to that service’s privacy practices.

Device permissions

BEAM Pace does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or health information. If you choose Save to Photos, BEAM Pace asks for permission to add the generated pacing card to your Photos library. It does not read or browse your existing photos. You can decline this permission and continue using the calculator and standard iOS sharing.

Apple services

Apple may independently process information relating to your use of the App Store, TestFlight or your Apple device in accordance with Apple’s own privacy policies. This information is not collected or controlled by BEAM Pace.

Data retention and deletion

Because BEAM Pace does not collect or store personal information on BEAM Running servers, there is no personal account or server-held user data to delete.

You can remove saved targets in the app’s Saved list. Removing a watch adjustment only removes that adjustment from the calculation. Cards you choose to save to Photos are managed separately in the Photos app.

Locally stored app information can be removed by deleting BEAM Pace from your device.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if BEAM Pace changes in a way that affects how information is handled.

The current version of this policy will always be available on this page.
